Author introduction: Xie Yan, associate professor at the Modern Literature Research Institute of Beijing Teachers and Masters Student Instructor. The important research area is the literature of the Tang and Song dynasties. He published a book-based academic specialist “Research on the Reformation of the Late Northern Song Dynasty Poems”, popularized his book “Ancient Poems in Course”, translated “Emotional Civilization in Chinese History” (combined translation), compiled 2 textbooks, and published more than 50 academic essays. Fan Zhongyan is a major politician. He is the focus of the new policy in history, a genius with both civil and military affairs, and a mark and list raised by the Northern Song Dynasty scholars. At the same time, he is also a far-reaching thinker. The ancient school of learning and the heroes among the next generation of scholars, such as Sun Yao, Hu Yuan, Shi Jie, Li Li, Euro Yang Xiu, Wang Anshi, and Zhang Qiu, all received his infection, rewards, and praises directly. Due to the rich historical records, Fan Zhongyan’s political practice and political history position have received sufficient research [1]. However, his thoughts are quite infinite, and what is often discussed is only one article “Yi Yi”, several articles and a set of rules, so his thoughts are not easy to describe, and his thoughts are not easy to balance. Since science research occupies an absolute dominant position in the study of thought history in the Song Dynasty, the academic community always tries to explore its breakthrough and creation in classical ideas, philosophical methods, and the use of philosophical concepts in infinite texts, and thus to establish a leading position in the leading science of philosophy [2]. This kind of thinking research based on the science stage is incomplete and suitable for Fan Zhongyan’s thinking characteristics, and is not as good as the characteristics of his works with fewer movements and fewer thinking.As close as possible, it is not difficult to bring excessive light and obscure the real face and true value of his thinking.

 

 

 

The author believes that Fan Zhongyan is a politician first and a thinker second. His thinking characteristics must be viewed in a broad political conclusion before he can obtain fair descriptions and evaluations. On the contrary, because he is a thinker with “a talent of knowledge and knowledge” [3], his political reality is not about the complexity and connection of political concepts and behaviors, but includes deep considerations and a system of close thoughts and closeness, which has high ideological value. Teacher Li Cunshan once used “learning to use the body” to cover the achievements of Fan Gong’s reform of government orders, creating general principles, and establishing education and other aspects [4]. This comprehensive study is very insightful. However, Mr. Fan still needs to further analyze and clarify the relationship between “treatment and “useful” method. This article breaks through the framework of science research, and starts from several main concepts or generals in Fan Zhongyan’s thinking. First, reevaluate his political thoughts, and then reevaluate his philosophical thoughts, and finally reveal the reality and historical position of his thinking.

 

1. A detailed “number”: Fan Zhongyan’s political thinking re-evaluates

 

The common understanding of the academic community on the nature of the new policy in history is: “People are the first” [5], “to clarify the governance of officials as an important and most basic task” [6]. The determination and execution of this kind of task does not come at once. Fan Zhongyan had a unique and long-term thinking process for “dealing officials”. He treats “shoulders” from the perspective of system construction. The former is the outlook of the latter and the latter is the focus of the former.
